Job Overview:
Deloitte Consulting LLP is seeking a Consulting Solution Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing Cloud-based software solutions and technology implementations, including data cleansing, interface design, development, and the systems development life cycle (SDLC). You will support clients in transitioning from On-Premise to Cloud, working on Cloud messaging, Cloud strategy, development, integration, migration, and managed services. You will participate in the full software development life cycle and ensure that business solutions are enhanced, upgraded, and supported in line with client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Solutions Design and Development: Recommend, design, and implement Cloud Computing solutions (IaaS, SaaS, DaaS, server virtualization) for clients.
- Cloud Migration and Integration: Enable clients’ transition to the Cloud, including infrastructure and connectivity to Cloud-based services.
- Automation and Scripting: Automate development and deployment tasks using Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, and AWS CodeBuild.
- SDLC Participation: Involved in requirements gathering, business process analysis, application configuration design, code deployments, defect triage, and validation.
- Test Strategy and Support: Coordinate and manage testing strategies, user behavior analysis, metrics, and reporting to ensure optimal solution performance.
- Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with a team of developers to create new components and resolve defects via Jira, Git, Jenkins, and Selenium.
- Deployment Assistance: Support the deployment of solutions to various environments (development, testing, and production) using AWS and MS Azure platforms.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, STEM, or related field.
- Experience: 1 year of relevant work experience in each of the following:
- Researching software application issues, identifying root causes, resolving them, and using ServiceNow and Jira for issue tracking and communication.
- Automating deployment tasks and managing development pipelines with Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, and AWS CodeBuild.
- Designing and developing Cloud solutions on AWS and Azure.
- Deploying solutions across different environments (development, testing, production).
- Developing multi-tier architecture applications using DevOps and Agile methodologies.
- Resolving software defects and working with development teams using tools like Jira, Git, Jenkins, and Selenium.
Other Requirements:
- Hours: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
- Eligibility: Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
- Location Flexibility: Work will be performed across various Deloitte office locations and client sites, with telecommuting options available.
