Roles & Responsibilities:
We are looking for passionate and qualified part-time Tamil tutors to join our team at The Great Knowledge Keepers Singapore. Tutors will be responsible for providing one-on-one Tamil language lessons to students of all levels, either online through Zoom or in-person at the student’s location.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct Tamil tuition sessions for students based on their level and needs (Primary, Secondary, etc.).
- Provide personalized lesson plans and assessments to ensure student progress.
- Teach Tamil Language and Tamil Literature, as well as other subjects as applicable.
- Maintain a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
- Manage flexible scheduling based on tutor and student preferences.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Tamil (oral and written).
- Ability to teach Tamil to students at various levels (Primary, Secondary, etc.).
- Previous tutoring experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to conduct lessons online via Zoom or in-person.
- A passion for teaching and helping students achieve their academic goals.
Compensation:
- Rates range from $40/hr to $45/hr depending on the location and grade level of the student.
- Tutors can earn additional income by referring other tutors through the referral program (25% of the first two successfully conducted lessons, up to $100 or more).
