ity Analyst (Level I) position at UltraViolet Cyber, a leading provider of unified security operations solutions. The role is part of the Security Operations Center (SOC) team and is crucial in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to cybersecurity threats and incidents for diverse clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and analyze security events and incidents across multiple client environments.
Respond to and manage security incidents, providing timely resolution.
Assist in improving threat detection and resilience strategies within the SOC.
Work with security tools and technologies to identify, detect, and mitigate security risks.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field, or equivalent certifications and experience.
Experience: 1-2 years in a cybersecurity role, preferably within a SOC environment.
Certifications: Preferred certifications include Security+ or CompTIA Network+.
Technical Skills:
- Understanding of network and security protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS).
- Familiarity with security threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.
- Proficiency with security tools like SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection.

Bonus Experience (Preferred):

Experience with MSSP (Managed Security Service Provider) work.
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
Knowledge of cloud security concepts and technologies.
Experience in incident response and digital forensics.
